With Vrushali’s international experience and numerous accolades representing India, along with the expertise of IFP Certified instructors, the academy offers top-notch training in pickleball. Vrushali Thakare
As an enthusiastic Pickleball Coach and accomplished International Player, brings over 7 years of playing experience and 4 years of coaching expertise. With IFP certification and numerous achievements including Gold in Mix Doubles at the Bainbridge Cup 2022 and multiple wins at the Asian Championship, Vrushali has secured over 50 medals in various events. Fluent in English, Hindi, Marathi, and Gujarati, she excels in communication and management, utilizing her skills to mentor future players. Currently serving as a Pickleball Instructor at Thakare Pickleball Academy in Pune, Vrushali previously held the same position at ASC College, Chopda, Jalgaon.
Ajay Chaudhari
Ajay Chaudhari is a seasoned Pickleball Coach and accomplished player, boasting over 7 years of playing experience and 5 years of coaching expertise. With notable achievements including being an IFP certified Instructor and securing top positions in prestigious tournaments like the Bainbridge Cup and Asian Championship, Ajay brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to his coaching. Fluent in multiple languages and possessing excellent communication and teaching abilities, Ajay is dedicated to mentoring aspiring players and inspiring a love for Pickleball.

What is Pickleball?
Pickleball is a dynamic paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. Played on a smaller court with a lower net, it’s accessible to people of all ages and skill levels. Players use solid paddles to hit a perforated polymer ball over the net, engaging in fast-paced rallies and strategic gameplay.
Is Pickleball suitable for beginners?
Yes! Pickleball is perfect for beginners. Our camp welcomes players of all levels, offering expert coaching and focused instruction on fundamental techniques, rules, and strategy. Beginners can confidently join and start enjoying the game right away.
What equipments do I need for the camp?
We’ve got you covered! All necessary pickleball equipment, including paddles, balls, and court facilities, are provided. Feel free to bring your preferred paddle or any personal gear you’d like. Our goal is to ensure every participant is fully equipped for the pickleball experience.
Will there be tournaments during the camp?
Yes! Experience an exciting tournament where campers can showcase their skills and compete against each other. It’s the perfect opportunity to demonstrate progress and enjoy friendly competition, with prizes for standout performances.
What should my child bring to the camp?
Participants should wear comfortable athletic clothing suitable for physical activity and bring a water bottle for hydration. Applying sunscreen before outdoor activities is encouraged. Most importantly, campers should bring a positive attitude and eagerness to learn, make new friends, and have fun on the pickleball court!
Are parents allowed to watch the camp sessions?
Parents are welcome to observe camp sessions and cheer on their children from the sidelines. It’s a great chance to see progress, interact with coaches, and enjoy pickleball action firsthand. We believe parental involvement enhances the camp experience for everyone.
How long does it take us to learn the basics?
It takes 3 to 5 months of regular training to learn the basics of Pickleball.
What safety measures are in place during the camp?
The well being of our participants is our top priority. We ensure the courts and surroundings are continually maintained to provide safe and healthy playing conditions under complete supervision from professional coaches.
Is it a competitive sport?
Yes, it is. Pickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports in the world and is governed by The International Pickleball Federation. The IPF is trying to promote the sport in India as well by conducting a lot of competitions, tournaments, and promotional events.
Competition will be age category-wise or open only?
The competition will be category-wise like U16, U19 with game levels like Intermediate, Advance, and Pro.
Is there transportation provided to the park?
Transportation to and from the park is not included in the camp package. Parents are kindly requested to arrange transportation for their children to ensure punctuality and convenience.
